Day 364: Jewel Box of Lights at Bloedel Conservatory

Day 364: Jewel Box of Lights at Bloedel ConservatoryPerched on top of the hill at Queen Elizabeth Park, at the highest point in Vancouver, is the Bloedel Floral Conservatory. Every Christmas season, this domed garden is transformed with over 50,000 colourful lights and a stunning display of poinsettias, into the Jewel Box of Lights. Step out of the cold, wet Vancouver weather and into this tropical forest full of exotic flowers and trees, Amazon parrots and pheasants. If you can, try to visit at night time - the lights will really shine for you then.
