Day 322: Open Mic Night at The Wired Monk
The Wired Monk on West 4th hosts open mic night every Thursday night. It’s a great opportunity to witness some raw local talent, without having to pay cover. Enjoy a hot chocolate on this cold wet evening, or perhaps something stronger – they are licensed, after all. All ages are welcome. Greg Monforton and Ivy Rich, two local musicians, host this evening on a volunteer basis, out of their love for new music. Live music is from 7:30 till 10:30pm. The sign up sheet goes around at 7:15. Be sure to arrive early – space is limited.
