Day 214: Lotus in Motion at the VanDusen Botanical Gardens

Day 214: Lotus in Motion at the VanDusen Botanical GardensUntil September 30th, multiple paintings in the shape of lily pads, bold in colour and varied in size, will float on the waters of Livingston Lake, Heather Pond, and Heron Lake at VanDusen Botanical Garden. “Lotus in Motion, The Watercolour Project” was created by Gordon Halloran, who created the wall of ice paintings called “Ice Gate” for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Truly a unique form of artistic expression, this display is not to be missed!
