Day 118: Bunny Rabbit Spotting at Jericho Park

Day 118: Bunny Rabbit Spotting at Jericho ParkAs the weather becomes warmer, the dozens of feral rabbits that call Jericho Park their home come out of the woodworks. This location, along with many other parks around the city, has become a dumping ground for unwanted pets. These rabbits, if they survive the harsh elements, unfamiliar ecosystem and predators, usually end up in the blackberry thicket located behind the Jericho Sailing Centre and beside the Park’s tennis courts.  Spotting the rabbits that are to be seen in all sizes and colours is a great (and free!) afternoon activity for the whole family.
